Our Story

Founded in 1973, with a backhoe and dump truck, MP provided excavating services in Minnesota. Shortly after its creation, MP quickly earned a reputation as the company that "gets the job done.” This was this reputation that led to opportunities with major telephone companies, which opened the door to providing expanded utility construction services. The first projects led to extended contracts, which led to the expansion of the company into a multi-million dollar, full service, utility construction operation over the next 38 years.

In 1999, the original partners agreed to sell MP and become part of a national communication construction company. After five years and many industry changes, MP was purchased back by Larry and Tim Pribyl. Larry was an original founder and Tim was the long time General Manager. Two years later, as the expansion of the business continued, Rob Pribyl took the position of Vice-President of Operations and partial ownership of the company. The company now operates as MP Nexlevel, LLC with the corporate office in Maple Lake, MN and other offices throughout the United States. MP Nexlevel's area of operation now covers 32 states and generates over 150 million dollars of revenue annually.
